A hen on a property near Bristol, England, has turned into a cockerel _ after eight months of laying eggs. Freaky the chicken has sprouted a comb, crows at dawn, fights with other cocks and tries to mate with hens. His condition is caused by high testosterone levels.

Nah...I'd bet some sick bugger shot the hen with some hormonal stuff to make it more productive or something. Smells suspiciously like human-work.
